What's up!

I'm Edgar "StrongShot" VJ.

From crafting tattoo art during high school, to dancing in the vibrant stages of Latin Reggaeton and Hip-hop, art has always been an integral part of my life's canvas. After high school, my wife and I moved from Sanford, NC straight to Augusta, GA where a sense of duty called, and I decided to place my artistic passions on hold in order to serve my country.

Fast forward a bit, I was released from my duty and relocated back to NC with my family. Immediately after moving to NC, My interest in photography flared while snapping a few photos and videos, with an HTC One smartphone, during Shamrock Breakdance Battle in Raleigh, NC. Shortly after, I was able to convince my wife, lol, on purchasing my first amateur camera— a Canon EOS 80D kit and a 50mm lens!

Yet, despite the distance, Georgia kept calling our name. So without a doubt, we moved again.

Fast forward a bit more. Upon our return to Augusta, and after capturing amazing travel images in Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, and Guatemala, I began to develop a style of my own. I simply enjoy capturing candid moments in time and completely freezing them forever. With no formal training, my artistic journey has been one of self-discovery and determination. Just as I taught myself dance and honed my artistic skills, photography became another canvas for me to express my vision. Late-night courses, boundless action, and relentless practice have been my allies in this quest for experience and growth. Little did I know, this is something my clients longed for— Timeless memories that are authentic and unique through my own perspective.
